Description
Brief Description: Dominex is an insecticide/acaricide containing alphacypermethrin a synthetic pyrethroid that can be used in dips, spray races and hand spraying systems.
Direction for use: Dominex must be diluted in water before use. Pre-mix the required quantity of concentrate with about 10 times its volume of water before using in the dip tank or spray race.
Dose Rates

Recommendations: Treatment should be repeated every two weeks. In case of high infestation, weekly use of Dominex is recommended. Treatment is best done in the morning. Animals should be allowed to drink clean water before dripping. Cattle can be milked the same day after dripping but one day should be allowed before slaughter.
Precautions: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not eat, or drink or smoke when applying the product.Wear protective clothing when operating. Dominex is dangerous to fish and other aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate water bodies with re-usage of containers.
Storage: Store in tightly closed original containers in a cool dark place away from children, livestock and food. Do not store near sources of heat or fire.
Disposal: If concentrate spills absorb spillage with dry soil or sawdust and collect all and bury. Clean contaminated area thoroughly with water.
Environmental Hazards: Toxic to fish. Do not spray on water. Relatively toxic to birds.Toxic to bees.Do not apply when bees are actively foraging in the field.
First Aid Instructions
If inhaled: Remove the person to fresh air.Call a doctor.
If in eyes: Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
If on skin: Remove contaminated clothes and wash skin with water and soap.
If swallowed: DO NOT induce vomiting call a doctor.
Toxicological Information
Symptoms of poisoning: Tremor, numbing, burning sensation and tingling.
Antidote: Has no antidote.
Note to the physician: Alphacypermethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid and aromatic hydrocarbons can cause lung damage if aspirated during vomiting. Induce vomiting with an endotracheal tube in place. Treat symptomatically.
