DESCRIPTION

Kilifos is based on complex salts of potassium with both curative and preventive action against CBD and Coffee Leaf Rust in coffee, Downy mildew and Roses and Snowpeas. it  also provides essential elements includin micro nutrients for proper coffee plant development.

DIRECTION FOR USE

Dosage rates

. Apply Kilifos at 7-8 liters per hectare or 2.8-3.2 liters per acre

. Apply 150mls / knapsack and use at least 8 knapsacks/acre or 20knapsacks/ha

Application

Boom sprayer(400L)

put the required dose of kilifos (7-8L) in the spray tank. Top up with water and mix thoroughly. Spray and keep the spray mixture agitated.

Boom sprayer(1000L)

put the required dose of kilifos (7-8L) in the spray tank. Top up with water and mix thoroughly. Spray and keep the mixture agitated.

Knapsack sprayer(16-20L)

Every coffee bush should receive 6mls of kilifos. Knowing the number of coffee bushes you spray with one knapsack from experience, then the amount of kilifos required  per knapsack will be the number of bushes you spray per knapsack times 6mls. For example, if you cover 25 trees  per knapsack then each knapsack requires (25*6)= 150mls of kilifos.

Timing

Apply the first spray 2 weeks after flowering then a second spray 2 weeks later. Do a third spray 3 weeks later. A forth application maybe required 4 weeks later if the weather allows high disease risk.

PRECAUTIONS

Do not eat , smoke or drink while working with the product. Wear protective clothing and clean equipment and work clothes and wash body after application.

STORAGE

Store the product in the original container in a cool dry place away from children, food and feedstuff.

DISPOSAL

Do not dispose product or container into waterways. Kilifos is also a plant nutrient, the best way to dispose the product is to spread it on farm. If spilled, dilute with soil and spread it on farm.

LIMITATION 

Do not mix  with copper based pesticides or fertilizers. Where a copper application is necessary allow an interval of 2 weeks between them.
